Privacy policy

Thank you for your interest in our blog. Protecting your personal data is important to us. Below we explain what data we process when you visit this website, for what purposes and on what legal basis.

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Into the Marketing Media Group S.L.
C/ Almajarra 1, Portal 1
41940 Tomares (Seville), Spain
Email: info@intothemarketing.com

2. Legal bases

We process personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; for storing and accessing information on your device, also Art. 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE);
  • Contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), for example when you contact us about our services;
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), for example in operating this website securely and reliably.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the “Manage Consent” button on every page.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Raiola Networks S.L. in Spain. When you visit the website, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page visited, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This processing is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are only kept for as long as necessary for these purposes.

To deliver pages faster, we use a caching plugin on our own server; no data is transferred to third parties. The connection to this website is encrypted using SSL/TLS.

4. Cookies and consent management

We use cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and do not require consent. All other cookies and services (statistics, embedded content, marketing) are only loaded after you give your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We use the WordPress plugin Complianz to manage your consent. It stores your choice in a cookie on your device; no data is sent to the plugin provider. You can change your choice at any time via “Manage Consent”. An overview of all cookies is available in our Cookie Policy.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or via the contact form, we process the information you provide (name, email address and your message) in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or its preparation, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once your request has been fully dealt with, unless legal retention obligations apply.

6. Web analytics (Google Analytics 4)

Only with your consent do we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze how the website is used, such as pages visited, time spent, approximate location and device used. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Data is deleted at the end of the retention period set in Google Analytics.

7. Appointment booking (Calendly)

On our LEOlytics page you can book a meeting via Calendly, provided by Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St, Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA. The booking widget is only loaded after you give your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you book a meeting, Calendly processes the data you enter (name, email address, chosen time slot) so that we can hold the meeting (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Google Fonts

This website uses fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). When a page is loaded, your browser downloads the fonts from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google.

9. Google reCAPTCHA

To protect our contact form against spam and abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited). reCAPTCHA checks, based on characteristics such as IP address and usage behavior, whether an entry was made by a human. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our website against automated abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

10. Social media buttons and profiles

On some pages we embed buttons from LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Dublin 2, Ireland) and Pinterest (Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland). These are only loaded after you give your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Once loaded, these providers may receive information about your visit even if you do not click the button.

We also link to our profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter) and Pinterest. These are simple links: data is only transferred when you click on them. Processing on those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies.

11. Recipients and international transfers

We only share your data with the service providers named in this policy, to the extent necessary for the purposes described. We do not sell personal data. Where data is transferred to the USA, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023) or on standard contractual clauses.

12. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law.

13. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR);
  • restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR);
  • object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR);
  • withdraw your consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

Simply write to info@intothemarketing.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es. You may also contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

14. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

15. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published on this page applies.
